If 0.1% of Nigerian evangelicals are mobilized to the unreached, that would be almost&nbsp;60,000 missionaries raised to reach the unreached. That is our faith-goal.

Why this Matters

Nigeria&rsquo;s location gives it extreme opportunities to reach the Muslim-dominated western area of Africa that other countries in Africa are not privileged with.&nbsp;An addition of almost 60,000 new missionaries by the Nigerian evangelical church to the&nbsp;pool of missionaries to the unreached will be a significant addition.

Project Details

Via Resource Printing $8, 400

Mobilization opportunities, coupled with high demand by other ministries who&nbsp;utilize Via resources for their mobilization makes it imperative that we print at&nbsp;least 3,000 copies of each of our core mobilization resources. This is a seed&nbsp;investment; funds spent on printing will be recouped through distribution and&nbsp;sales, allowing for future mass printings.

Support Raising Bootcamp $2,500

Support raising is one of the biggest barriers to sending Nigerians to the mission&nbsp;field. Our Support Raising Bootcamp equips missionaries with biblical and&nbsp;effective ways to raise full support for their ministry. Via Generosity began in&nbsp;2023 to offer this to the Nigerian mission community. Subsidizing our Support Raising Bootcamp makes it accessible to Nigerian missionaries.

Recruitment &amp; Team Growth $2000

The Nigerian evangelical church has a population of almost 60 million. Mobilizing this&nbsp;massive church requires more mobilizers. Our team envisions planting teams&nbsp;in strategic cities across Nigeria. To do this, we need to recruit and grow Via national staff throughout the country.

Nigeria Area Team Fund $6,200

For general ministry, travel, &amp; church partnership. This includes hosting events, training national mobilizers, serving local churches, and traveling to strategic areas.

Students Mission Mobilization Conference $11,000

70% of Nigeria&rsquo;s population is under the age of 30. University students and young adults are the most recruitable, trainable, and sendable people on the planet. Starting from 2024, Via, in partnership with national student ministries, will host an annual conference with the aim of mobilizing young Nigerian evangelicals to the unreached.

Laptop, Projector and Accessories $3,000

These will help in carrying out administrative tasks, communication, and our mobilization training.

Budget Details

The Nigeria Team's total budget of $33,100 is designed to help maximize the huge opportunity to mobilize evangelicals in Nigeria to the unreached. The goal is to raise 60,000 new missionaries from Nigeria to the unreached. This budget will make it possible to have bulk printing of Via resources in Nigeria, recruit and equip more national staff to mobilize evangelicals in Nigeria, subsidize our Support Raising Bootcamp to make it more accessible to missionaries, maintain a healthy Nigerian Team fund, host a conference with the aim of mobilizing young adults to the unreached, and buy laptop, projector and their accessories.

Nigeria is home to the largest population of Christians in Africa. It shares many cultural similarities with about 30 unreached people groups.
Nigerian evangelicals have access to nearly 66 million unreached people in-country, and almost 160 million regionally. This ranks Nigeria high for strategic access to the unreached.
The Nigerian evangelical church has a population of almost 60 million but is currently sending 1,400 missionaries abroad, and 5,000 in-country. This is a church with great potential!
