These regions have tremendous mission sending potential to help bring the gospel to unreached peoples, but they currently send only 20% of the world’s cross-cultural missionaries!

Project Outcomes

The ministry funds contributed to our team make mobilization possible through the SE&nbsp;Asian region. It is these funds that allow us partner with churches and organizations to&nbsp;do the work of mobilization in person, establish national teams, respond positively to&nbsp;the mobilization requests of leaders throughout the region, translate and print resources&nbsp;all of which results in the sending of laborers to the nations!

Why this Matters

689 unreached people groups live out their daily life SE Asia along with millions&nbsp;of Christians. The potential for strategic mobilization with organizations and leaders&nbsp;collaborating together is significant. The gospel must be shared and thousands&nbsp;of laborers are needed to reach those who have never heard. Our goal is to see 25,000&nbsp;new&nbsp;missionaries mobilized and sent from SE Asia.

Ministry Projects

1. Establishing a Philippine National Team ($22,000)

o Timeline - November 2024
 o Project Outcomes: 90,000 evangelical churches exist in the Philippines.
The most strategic way to mobilize the Filipino Body of Christ is to have a&nbsp;national team dedicated to mission mobilization. Our goal is register with&nbsp;the Philippine government as an organization, establish a governing&nbsp;board, and commission an initial team of 5 staff.
 o Why this Matters: The Philippines has more Christians than any other SE&nbsp;Asian nation and already has a variety of sending structures in place. The Filipino Church is ripe for mobilization and sending thousands of cross-cultural laborers!&nbsp;
 o Project Details: Funds are needed to cover the expenses of registering as&nbsp;an organization, initial operating costs, securing office space, printing of&nbsp;materials and funding the initial mobilization ministry of the staff.

2. Vietnam Mobilization Opportunities ($11,000)

o Timeline - August 2024 &ndash; February 2025
 o Project Outcomes: God has opened two significant doors of opportunity to&nbsp;serve alongside two different denominations who desire to &ldquo;mobilize, send&nbsp;and fund&rdquo; missionaries from their churches. One of these denominations&nbsp;intends to send 100+ laborers to Unreached People Groups. They have&nbsp;requested the assistance of our team to help them accomplish this.
 o Why this Matters: Thousands of UPGs are in Asia and there are millions of&nbsp;Christians. The potential for strategic mobilization with these&nbsp;denominations and leaders is significant. The gospel must be shared and&nbsp;thousands of laborers are needed to reach those who have never heard.&nbsp;This certainly aligns with our goal to see 25,000 new missionaries&nbsp;mobilized and sent from SE Asia.
 o Project Details: Funds are needed to cover the expenses of translations of&nbsp;training materials, printing costs, and to assist the churches in funding the&nbsp;gathering, meeting, and preparation of leaders and potential missionaries.

3. Myanmar Sending Structure ($7000+)

o Timeline - October 2024
 o Project Outcomes: The fruitfulness of mission mobilization in Myanmar&nbsp;has resulted in the need to create and establish a structure for more&nbsp;effective sending &ndash; basically a mission sending agency. Plans are underway&nbsp;to create and register the first sending agency in Myanmar that is not&nbsp;affiliated with a specific denomination.
o Why This Matters: As missionaries are called to go having a sending&nbsp;agency provides them with community, accountability, a means my which&nbsp;to raise funds, member care, training, etc . . .
 o Project Details: The funds will be used to establish, register, and begin the&nbsp;work of organizing a mission sending agency in Myanmar. $7000 is&nbsp;needed to begin. Any additional funds provided will be used to complete&nbsp;translation projects, fund missionaries, hire Burmese staff, continue the&nbsp;work of mobilization in the country, etc . . .

4. Arise Asia ($32,000)

o Timeline - $4000 needed by mid-September. Additional funds needed&nbsp;throughout the coming year.
 o Project Outcome: Arise Asia is a movement that desires to mobilize and&nbsp;send young professionals as missionaries to peoples and places where the&nbsp;gospel has never yet been shared. Via has been asked to provide resources, workshops and discipling to all the participants. To date there are more&nbsp;than 10 events scheduled in different countries throughout Asia including Sri Lanka, Nepal and Indonesia. This is a tremendous opportunity to connect with thousands of young people across Asia and mobilize them for&nbsp;Great Commission purposes.  o Why This Matters: Arise Asia is well aligned with the purposes of our team&nbsp;in mobilizing to the nations. Their strategy is to connect in a conference format and we get to participate in the ongoing discipling and mobilizing of those who attend.
o Project Details: Funds contributed here will be used for the translation,&nbsp;printing and distribution of the Explore booklet for each national&nbsp;conference as well as Via staff travel to each conference and associated expenses.

5. Translation and Printing of Via Materials ($21,000)

o Timeline &ndash; Urgent as projects are waiting on funds
 o Project Outcome: Translate and complete a first run print of Via resources&nbsp;in Bahasa Indonesian, Burmese, and Vietnamese. Via resources requested&nbsp;are Explore, Parenting with A Global Vision, Big Vision Series, God&rsquo;s Heart for Muslims, The God Ask, and Welcoming the Nations.
o Why This Matters: Printed materials in local languages will far outlast the physical presence of the mobilizer. In SE Asia there is growing demand for&nbsp;Via resources from multiple languages in the region. Placing printed mission mobilization materials in the hands of churches, student ministries and mission organizations maximizes the potential of seeing a movement of missionaries being sent to the nations.
o Project Details: Funds are needed for the translation, typesetting and printing of resources.

6. Family Mobilization in SE Asia ($5500)

o Timeline &ndash; Immediate and urgent
 o Project Outcome: Missions becomes a natural choice for a person if their&nbsp;parents have discipled them in God&rsquo;s global purposes throughout their&nbsp;childhood. Our goal is see significant growth in family mobilization&nbsp;ministries throughout the region. Already we are working with nine&nbsp;leaders in nine different cities equipping them to train parents how to&nbsp;disciple their children in the Great Commission.
 o Why This Matters: Train a child when he is young and even when he is old&nbsp;he will not depart from those teaching. This is a long term strategy of&nbsp;developing missions DNA in families across Asia. We pray that this&nbsp;investment now will lead to many missionaries going to the nations in the&nbsp;years to come!
 o Project Details: Funds will be used to train leaders, conduct workshops for&nbsp;parents, and resource people with Via&rsquo;s Parenting with a Global Vision&nbsp;resource as well as with the Big Story Series for children.

7. Mission Mobilization Media ($2500)

o Timeline &ndash; October 2024
 o Project Outcome: Record, edit and distribute two mission mobilization&nbsp;videos that can be used for general audiences. The purpose is to help&nbsp;people understand God&rsquo;s heart for the nations, the state of the world and&nbsp;how people can be involved in the Great Commission through audio visual&nbsp;and social media platforms.
 o Why This Matters: AV and social media are strategic ways to reach the&nbsp;younger generation (in particular) with the importance of spreading the&nbsp;gospel to those who have never heard.
 o Project Details: Funds will be used to cover all related expenses for the&nbsp;production of media resources.

8. General Mobilization budget funds for fiscal year 2024-2025&nbsp;($28,500).

Funds are allocated for the ongoing ministry expenses of mobilization including&nbsp;addition of new staff, logistical, administrative and care costs for the SE Asia Via&nbsp;team.

Southeast Asia is home to 700 million people with an incredibly&nbsp;diverse population of Muslims, Buddhist, and Hindus who desperately need to hear the gospel. Nearly 50% of them remain unreached with&nbsp;the truth of Jesus.
 What is exciting and strategic about SE Asia is its significant mission&nbsp;sending potential with over 30 million evangelicals in the region who&nbsp;could be mobilized to spread the gospel to the Unreached around&nbsp;them. Working in partnership with indigenous churches and ministries,&nbsp;our SE Asia based team networks and collaborates to lead trainings,&nbsp;create reproducing small groups discipling believers in God&rsquo;s heart for&nbsp;the nations, and assists Christians to actively move towards those&nbsp;who remain unreached with the gospel.
